Facilities Management Manager

About the role

Majid Al Futtaim is looking for a Manager - Facilities Management for its MAF Retail Head Office in Egypt. The role covers preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance for assigned store(s), keeping all assets fully operational, properly maintained and compliant with company standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule and report maintenance activities with store stakeholders.
• Develop team schedules so operational requirements are met on time.
• Plan periodic inspections of store assets in line with maintenance plans and service agreements.
• Prepare maintenance operating expenses and critical maintenance requirements with Finance.
• Develop and implement annual preventive maintenance plans.
• Drive energy-saving and efficiency initiatives across the store.
• Manage vendors and contractors so work meets agreed standards and timelines.
• Oversee maintenance consumables and spare parts inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Facilities Management and Maintenance.
• Experience managing facility operations in retail, commercial or large-scale settings.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution.
• Ability to manage maintenance budgets and operating expenses.
• Willingness to be on call for emergency response when required.
