F&B Supervisor

About the role

The F&B Supervisor will lead the front‑of‑house team at Portaluna, a Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt, ensuring a memorable dining experience that reflects the brand’s vibrant and iconic style. This role combines team leadership, guest service excellence, and operational oversight within a specialty restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach wait staff, runners, and related team members, fostering a high‑performing, professional service culture.
• Deliver personalized dining experiences, addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring accurate menu explanations, including ingredient sourcing and beverage pairings.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the specialty menu, seasonal changes, and dietary accommodations, guiding the team in wine, cocktail, and non‑alcoholic pairings.
• Oversee daily operations of the dining area, coordinating with kitchen and bar to ensure timely order preparation and seamless service flow.
• Drive upselling of premium dishes and exclusive items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports covering guest feedback, sales data, and staff performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising front‑of‑house teams in a hotel or upscale restaurant setting.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Excellent knowledge of specialty menus, ingredient sourcing, and beverage pairings.
• Organizational skills to manage service areas, coordinate with kitchen/bar, and handle reporting duties.
