Finance Manager - Logistics

About the role

The Finance Manager, Logistics acts as a trusted partner and financial leader for the Supply Chain team, providing financial analysis and insight to support the value creation agenda. The role supports Factory and Market logistics and inventory planning and forecasting for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) markets and factories, and leads end-to-end LCC and inventory value creation across the MEA network.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Finance Business Partner for the MEA Supply Chain team and Finance team, covering LCC actual costs and forecasting, inventory levels and cash impact.
• Partner with Supply Chain on value leadership initiatives and projects, and work with the FP&A team to consolidate LCC and inventory inputs and understand period actuals.
• Manage ad-hoc financial reporting, identify risks and opportunities and make recommendations, and share insights that drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate strategic planning cycles for Supply, drive integration of LCC from a finance perspective, and track action plans and root causes to improve operations.
• Escalate operating plan variances where needed and coordinate with the FP&A team on financial shaping and decision-making.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, including manufacturing or supply chain business partnering experience.
• Preferred: Master's degree/MBA, CPA or CMA.

Required skills

• Understanding of process improvement, project management and planning, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of supply processes such as demand planning, logistics, S&OP, inventory flow and control.
• Financial insights and analysis, using systems, processes and digital tools to derive and communicate financial insights.
• Financial shaping and decision-making, including evaluating investments and deploying strategy.
