Finance Senior Associate (German Speaker)

About the role

PwC's Finance Senior Associate manages the day-to-day delivery of Finance engagements within the Finance Service Tower, delivering Finance Managed Services to customers. The role covers execution of processes, accountability for service-level performance and continuous improvement of the team, and contributes to Finance Managed Services strategic plans and programs. The position is based in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of Finance engagements, including oversight of key customer deliverables
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions across end-to-end finance processes such as procure to pay, record to report, order to cash and general ledger
• Demonstrate sound understanding of financial reporting processes, risk and controls
• Complete quality reviews and audits so delivery meets policies, procedures, compliance standards and customer expectations
• Hold accountability for SLA/OLA compliance within the engagement team
• Apply analytical and financial modelling skills and interpret financial data
• Manage workload and report progress and escalations, and coach and mentor team members
• Build relationships with colleagues, client teams and customers, and implement corrective actions and quality improvements

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant with at least 4 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, or part-qualified accountant with similar experience
• Experience coaching and coordinating a team to meet deadlines
• Experience defining and tracking KPIs to measure finance operations effectiveness
• Fluent English and strong communication skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Strong practical knowledge of accounting and reporting systems, profit and loss and balance sheet
• Knowledge of accounting for financial instruments
• Excellent MS Office skills
