Financial Analyst - Senior Associate, Accounts Receivable

About the role

PwC is hiring a Senior Associate for its Advisory practice within ETIC's Finance Function in Cairo. The role provides finance advice to ETIC stakeholders in line with PwC policies and accounting standards, and involves managing accounts receivable, billing and reconciliation across territories. It is a new business, so there is room to grow and take on more responsibility over time. The Senior Associate reports to the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including accurate and timely billing to territories based on networking days and agreed terms.
• Ensure billing adjustments for resource trades between territories are correctly processed.
• Reconcile inter-territory transactions and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Engage stakeholders to address inquiries, give updates and align on billing and payment processes.
• Track monthly networking days and align invoicing schedules accordingly.
• Analyse data to support billing and reporting, including variance analysis and trade impact assessments.
• Maintain AR records and support month-end and year-end closing by reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
• Help improve billing workflows and internal controls, and use receivable trend analysis to strengthen collections.

• Detail-oriented and organised, able to handle large volumes of billing data.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to prioritise tasks and work collaboratively.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and presentations.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Dashboard building with Power Query, DAX and SQL.
• Accounting software such as Sun or Sage and reporting tools.
