Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the preparation and analysis of the company’s financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards. In this position you will provide senior management with timely financial insights, support strategic decision‑making, and drive continuous improvement of budgeting processes. The role also oversees cost‑control initiatives to optimize production‑related expenses and maintain robust accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and publish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, ensuring they meet internal and external reporting requirements.
• Develop, monitor, and update budgets and financial forecasts, analyze deviations from targets, and recommend corrective actions to senior leadership.
• Manage cost‑control initiatives, focusing on optimizing production‑related expenses and improving overall cost efficiency.
• Oversee core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing.
• Conduct ad‑hoc research and financial analysis to support business projects and strategic initiatives.
