Freelance AI Trainer – Business Owner (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for independent business owners in the food, lodging, service, or retail sectors to help evaluate AI-driven commerce tools. As a freelance AI Trainer, you will use your real‑world experience to test new platform features, audit local search listings, and provide structured feedback that improves AI accuracy for merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Independently test newly released digital merchant tools, storefront features, and AI recommendations.
• Review AI‑generated business summaries, search visibility results, and mapping integrations for factual accuracy.
• Produce detailed, audit‑ready feedback on usability, relevance, and day‑to‑day utility of the tools.
• Identify and document anomalies where AI misclassifies business categories, services, hours, or local market nuances.

Required profile

• Active owner, operator, or primary manager of a business in food/beverage, lodging, local service, or retail.
• Possess a verified Google Business Profile for your enterprise.
• Strong analytical communication skills to articulate technical observations and UX friction points.
• Meticulous, detail‑oriented approach to evaluating digital workflows from a merchant perspective.

Required skills
