Front-end Development Engineer (React/React Native)

About the role

The Web Front‑end Engineer will join Valeo Services’ Smart Shared Service Center to develop and maintain customer‑facing web and hybrid mobile applications. Working in an Agile environment, the engineer will help implement Valeo’s Digital Strategy and deliver high‑quality user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve web and hybrid mobile applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and React Native.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to turn concepts into functional features.
• Create reusable, maintainable components and enforce front‑end engineering standards.
• Optimize UI rendering, caching, bundling and ensure responsive design across devices.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers and assist in architecture planning.
• Maintain documentation and support the operation of released applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience with front‑end technologies.
• Passion for delivering great user experiences and ability to work in a collaborative Agile team.

Required skills

• HTML5 and CSS3 (including Bootstrap).
• Pure JavaScript and modern ES6+ syntax.
• Strong knowledge of React and React Native.
• Experience with UI performance optimization, caching, bundling and responsive design.
