HR Generalist

About the role

TaskUs is seeking an HR Generalist to join its Cairo site. The role will support employee relations, policy compliance and special HR projects while reporting to the HR Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to employees and internal teams on HR legal matters.
• Develop, review and update company policies to ensure compliance with current laws.
• Collaborate with the legal team on HR‑related legal issues and ongoing projects.
• Collect and analyze HR data to propose solutions and improve performance.
• Identify performance gaps and recommend actions for managers and employees.
• Lead special projects, set timelines, coordinate stakeholders and deliver results.
• Prepare reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing HR trends and data.
• Maintain awareness of local legislation and advise management on compliance actions.
• Oversee onboarding to deliver a high‑quality new‑hire experience.
• Review and file new‑hire paperwork in partnership with payroll and legal vendors.

Required profile

• Experience in employee relations and HR legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of local labor legislation and compliance.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret HR data.
• Project management skills to drive special initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and management.
