HSE Officer – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

We are a leading FMCG company seeking an HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations. The role protects employees, contractors, the public and company assets while supporting continuous improvement of safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications for machinery and equipment to verify safety compliance.
• Identify and correct potential risks through inspections of facilities, machinery and safety equipment.
• Assess the effectiveness of control measures and recommend improvements.
• Ensure buildings and facilities meet occupational health and safety regulations.
• Install or guide the installation of safety devices on machines.
• Review and update staff safety programs.
• Investigate accidents, injuries or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive actions.
• Monitor fire systems, oversee periodic maintenance and follow‑up actions.
• Prepare and submit safety and occupational health reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum two years of experience as a safety and professional health officer.
• Preferable experience with fire and fire‑fighting systems.
• Relevant certified training certificates.
• Previous work experience certificates are a plus.
