About the role
The Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science seeks a senior academic professional to join its IT Security teaching and research team. The appointment can be at the level of Full Professor, Associate Professor or Lecturer, with an expected start date in September 2026 or February 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and graduate courses in information security, network security, cryptography, penetration testing and digital forensics.
- Develop and lead innovative pedagogical approaches and manage related study programmes.
- Conduct independent and applied research, publish findings, and secure research funding.
- Supervise bachelor, master and PhD students and collaborate with external partners.
- Participate in departmental committees and contribute to the university’s academic community.
Required profile
- At least five years of professional experience after graduation, with a minimum of three years outside higher education.
- Demonstrated record of collaborative research and successful student supervision.
- Excellent teaching abilities at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
