Junior Data Scientist

About the role

As a Junior Data Scientist you will support the delivery of data‑driven insights and solutions under the mentorship of senior data scientists. You will work on data preparation, model implementation, and analysis tasks while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to address client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and deploying machine learning models under senior guidance.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Gather, clean, and analyze data to ensure quality and consistency.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate findings.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and trends.
• Maintain and update models and algorithms in production.
• Write scripts to automate data processing workflows.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, preferably in finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and their applications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with clear communication skills.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying current with data‑science developments.
