Junior Site Architect – Cairo

About the role

BeFound is looking for a Junior Site Architect to join its multidisciplinary design studio in Cairo. You will support the execution of architectural projects on‑site, ensuring that design intent is faithfully translated into built form while coordinating daily activities with contractors and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily architectural works and finishing activities on site.
• Verify that all works follow approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with the Technical Office on RFIs, shop drawings, and site modifications.
• Review material submittals for compliance with project requirements.
• Manage daily interactions with contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines.
• Track project progress, prepare periodic site reports, and communicate updates to the project management team.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience as a site engineer or similar role.
• Resident of Cairo.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Understanding of finishing materials and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Experience handling RFIs and coordinating shop drawings.
