Junior Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Join MixRank as a Junior Software Engineer working remotely from Egypt. You will help build and maintain a large‑scale data platform that processes petabytes of web‑crawled information, collaborating with a fully remote, international team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features across web applications, data pipelines, and infrastructure.
• Contribute to data mining, ETL, and machine‑learning workflows.
• Scale and optimize PostgreSQL databases and other storage systems.
• Participate in continuous integration, deployment, and DevOps tasks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to solve complex technical problems.

Required profile

• Passionate about programming and eager to learn new technologies.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, distributed team.
• Interest in big‑data, databases, and data‑driven products.
• Junior‑level experience or strong academic background in computer science or related fields.
