Legal Counsel

About the role

EVA Pharma, a pharmaceutical company based in Giza, is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to support its legal department. The role provides comprehensive legal advice so that the company's operations comply with all applicable laws and regulations, covering commercial, regulatory, contractual and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements
• Advise on commercial, regulatory, contractual and compliance matters
• Support compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies
• Assist in managing litigation and dispute resolution matters
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams so legal considerations are integrated into business decisions
• Keep up with legal developments in the pharmaceutical industry and advise management
• Support corporate governance and regulatory filings as required

Required profile

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent); a Master's degree or certificate in Corporate or Commercial Law is a plus
• 10 years of legal experience as a Legal Counsel or in a similar role
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts
• Deep understanding of Egyptian law
• Excel and data analysis
