LV Project Engineer – Low Voltage Systems

About the role

ABB is seeking a motivated LV Project Engineer to join the Smart Power SPLVS – Low Voltage Systems team in Egypt. You will act as the design authority for low‑voltage switchgear projects, ensuring technical excellence, safety compliance, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to shape solutions, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
• Create work plans, cost estimates and ensure quality implementation within budget.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, staging, testing, installation and commissioning functions.
• Provide materials, drawings and documentation to support smooth project execution.
• Guarantee compliance with safety, quality and cybersecurity standards.
• Participate in project reviews, technical discussions and contribute to design innovation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience designing low‑voltage switchgear, including testing, production support and material planning.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Passion for solving technical challenges and commitment to continuous learning.
