Maintenance Engineer

About the role

RAF Specialty Coffee is looking for a highly motivated Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and continuous operation of all branch facilities and equipment. The role combines preventive maintenance planning, rapid response to breakdowns, and support for new branch openings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for all branch equipment and facilities.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, emergency maintenance requests, and corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate espresso machines, coffee grinders, brewing equipment, and other specialty coffee tools.
• Maintain electrical systems, panels, wiring, mechanical equipment, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Participate in technical inspections, handovers, and commissioning of new branches.
• Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, monitoring service quality and SLAs.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor maintenance budgets, identify energy‑efficiency opportunities, and support cost‑control decisions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, analyze trends, and propose predictive‑maintenance initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs in a multi‑site environment.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with operational teams.
