Maintenance & Spare Parts Manager – Asyut Plant

About the role

The Maintenance & Spare Parts Manager will lead all maintenance activities and oversee the spare parts inventory for our water and carbonated soft drinks production plant in Asyut. The role ensures reliable equipment operation, minimizes downtime, and controls maintenance costs through effective planning, scheduling, and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) program for production and utility equipment such as filling lines, packaging machinery, blow‑molding machines, water‑treatment systems, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Coordinate corrective maintenance to reduce production interruptions and maintain safety standards.
• Create and update maintenance procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyse failure data and drive reliability improvements.
• Lead, train and evaluate the maintenance team, assigning tasks and ensuring competence.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering and HSE departments for seamless maintenance integration.
• Manage external contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Prepare and control the maintenance budget, tracking key metrics such as uptime, MTBF, MTTR and cost.
• Design and maintain a spare parts inventory system, setting optimal stock levels based on criticality and lead times.
• Oversee procurement, vendor selection, negotiation and inventory audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing maintenance teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical background with hands‑on knowledge of industrial equipment.
• Ability to develop and enforce safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
