Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance activities across our restaurant network in Cairo. The role ensures all equipment, facilities and utilities operate reliably while minimizing downtime and upholding safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance operations across multiple restaurant branches.
• Ensure kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and general facilities function efficiently.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety risks.
• Manage maintenance technicians and external contractors, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Monitor maintenance costs and support budget planning and cost‑control initiatives.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and equipment service histories.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and food safety regulations.
• Coordinate with Operations and Branch Managers to schedule work with minimal business impact.
• Support new branch openings, renovations and facility improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in Food & Beverage, Hospitality or Retail sectors.
• Proven experience supervising maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and prioritize tasks effectively.
