Mapping Data Collection Driver – Field Operations

About the role

We are looking for reliable, safety‑focused drivers to support a large‑scale mapping data collection project. You will operate client‑provided vehicles equipped with specialised mapping equipment, travelling across assigned zones to capture high‑quality street‑level data.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles with mapping and data‑collection equipment.
• Collect mapping data within assigned zones while meeting daily and weekly delivery targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of vehicles and equipment.
• Identify safe local parking locations, secure and cover the vehicle each day.
• Report incidents, traffic accidents or public interactions professionally.
• Coordinate daily activities and issue resolution with the Camp Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate inventory and device logs in the designated system.
• Travel long distances and stay in hotels for extended assignments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience, including at least 2 years in a professional setting (taxi, delivery, logistics, courier).
• Good English communication skills.
• Defensive, calm and safety‑oriented driving style.
• Comfortable driving larger vehicles such as vans or trucks.
• Familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods and traffic patterns in the working country.
• Polite and professional demeanor when interacting with the public.

Required skills

• Use of GPS navigation tools.
• Basic vehicle maintenance (changing tires, reading gauges).
• Operating larger vehicles (vans, trucks).
