Mechanical Engineer (Electromechanical) – Technical Office

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on electromechanical systems to join our Technical Office team. The role involves delivering high-quality MEP engineering solutions for HVAC and fire-fighting projects in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations for HVAC and fire-fighting systems.
• Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support during design and execution.
• Produce technical reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Technical Office environment.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC and fire-fighting systems.
• Proficiency in engineering calculations for the above systems.
• Experience preparing BOQ and material take-offs.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
