Mechanical Engineer – Site Supervision (Construction)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to supervise the installation of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems on construction sites for a leading real‑estate developer.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems on site.
• Review mechanical drawings, BOQs, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications, quality standards and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress and prepare technical reports.
• Support testing and commissioning activities before project handover.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and firefighting systems.
• Experience in site supervision, technical coordination and reviewing shop drawings.
• Good understanding of construction codes and quality standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good command of English.
