People Partner Lead – HR Operations

About the role

The People Partner Lead is responsible for executing core HR processes at the plant level, ensuring disciplined operations, employee relations, and policy compliance. This role provides hands‑on HR support to managers and staff, contributing to workforce stability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce health and safety legislation and promote safe working practices.
• Implement the plant People strategy in line with Lafarge Egypt priorities.
• Translate operational needs into practical workforce solutions and promote company values.
• Provide day‑to‑day advisory support to line managers.
• Support workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning and development actions.
• Facilitate performance management cycles and coordinate learning initiatives for all employee groups.
• Handle employee relations cases, including discipline, grievances and investigations, ensuring labor‑law compliance.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes, payroll inputs, HR system updates and personnel records.
• Track and report HR KPIs and workforce data.
• Support organizational change, identify people‑related risks and drive continuous improvement of HR processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and internal HR policies.
• Experience providing HR operational support in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
