Planning Senior Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Planning Senior Engineer to lead the scheduling and resource allocation for our construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery and risk mitigation. The engineer will also ensure that subcontractor schedules are integrated and that any performance deviations are addressed promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate resources, load and level work as required.
• Coordinate with project managers to align schedules with strategic targets.
• Assist the project team in defining subcontracting plans, highlighting subcontractor targets and milestones.
• Identify critical path(s) in project schedules.
• Supervise preparation of progress reports and presentations, emphasizing risks to stakeholders.
• Validate schedules across disciplines and monitor risk awareness.
• Approve, monitor and analyze subcontractors’ baseline and updated schedules and assess impact on the master schedule.
• Settle subcontractor performance indicators and flag deviations.
• Prepare delay analyses and resolve time claim issues.
• Support project cash‑flow management and invoicing processes.

Required profile

• Significant experience in construction project planning and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of critical path analysis and resource leveling.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented approach to risk identification and mitigation.
