Procurement Specialist – Local & International Purchasing

About the role

Joy Glass is looking for a driven Procurement Specialist to lead purchasing activities in its 6th of October facility. The role focuses on local procurement while also handling international supplier interactions, ensuring cost‑effective and timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute local purchasing initiatives, securing best value and on‑time delivery.
• Manage the full internal procurement cycle independently, from requisition to payment.
• Collaborate with both local and international suppliers to negotiate terms and maintain strong relationships.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of procurement processes and strategies.
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline procurement workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Support the creation of robust procurement frameworks aligned with company goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ownership and accountability for end‑to‑end procurement activities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, on‑site setting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers.
