Procurement Specialist – MEP Spare Parts & Facility Management

About the role

The Procurement Specialist – MEP Spare Parts & Facility Management is responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and purchasing goods and services that meet operational requirements. The role ensures cost‑effective procurement while maintaining quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors to secure high‑quality, cost‑effective materials and services.
• Prepare, issue, and follow up on Requests for Quotations (RFQs), purchase orders, and procurement contracts.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, quality, and contractual compliance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in line with company policies and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, logistics, and other internal departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Support cost‑reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation.
• Stay updated on market trends, new products, and changes in the supplier landscape.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Experience in spare parts and facility management procurement.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Maximo and Oracle.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation abilities.
• Very good command of English.
• Experience working across Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
• Relevant certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
