Production Engineer (Blown Film)

About the role

We are seeking a Production Engineer specialized in blown film to join our manufacturing team at Aldawlia For Plastic Materials in 10th of Ramadan City. The role focuses on producing high‑quality food‑grade plastic films while ensuring safety, hygiene, and efficient plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the shift leader and execute the production plan received from planning.
• Carry out all production activities required to manufacture quality blown films.
• Adjust machine settings according to approved SOPs for each product.
• Manage recycling system activities and address faults affecting production or film quality.
• Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns, report abnormalities, and plan preventive shutdowns.
• Work closely with quality control to ensure product specifications are met and track material history.
• Liaise with slitting and metallizing departments for production‑related matters.
• Procure raw materials and consumables from store and perform data entry in ERP.
• Generate reports to monitor production performance and maintain plant housekeeping to meet food‑grade hygiene standards.
• Follow safe operating practices and equipment safety features.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Proven experience in blown film or plastic manufacturing.
• Ability to resolve engineering problems efficiently and handle stressful situations.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to follow supervisory instructions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP systems for production data entry and reporting.
• Practical knowledge of blown film production processes and machine setup.
