Quality Control Engineer - Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Quality Control Engineer to ensure that all mechanical designs, installations and systems meet the required codes, standards and project specifications. The role involves on‑site inspections, coordination with testing laboratories and providing technical guidance to field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical designs, drawings and specifications for compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
• Conduct on‑site inspections of mechanical installations, equipment and systems to evaluate workmanship, materials and performance.
• Coordinate with external testing laboratories to oversee functional, efficiency and safety testing of mechanical systems.
• Identify quality issues, propose corrective actions and work with the project team to implement solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive quality control records, reports and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and training to field mechanics on quality control best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers to achieve mechanical quality objectives within schedule and budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
