Quality Control Manager – Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC activities on construction projects in Cairo. The role involves ensuring that all works, materials and inspections comply with contract specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain control and documentation procedures.
• Gather performance data and produce statistical reports.
• Verify that all work and materials meet contract specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule field testing and QA/QC inspections.
• Monitor construction activities and material deliveries on site.
• Review special inspections and third‑party material testing.
• Document inspections and tests in QC reports.
• Establish standards, systems and procedures with operating staff.
• Prepare daily site reports and verify corrective actions.
• Act as resident inspector during site progress.
• Coordinate technical specifications with support engineers.
• Manage project logs (E1, E2, IR, NCR, etc.).
• Prepare method statements and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for project activities.
• Issue work release forms and compile project documentation.
• Hand over inspection reports to consultants and review subcontractor invoices.
• Prepare progress sheets for client invoicing and ensure subcontractor manpower compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quality Control Engineer in construction, finishing and fit‑out projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
