Regional Business Development Executive (Senior) - Africa

About the role

Dentons, the world's largest global law firm, is hiring a Senior Regional Business Development Executive for its Africa region. The role supports the execution of clients and markets activity under the direction of the Africa BD Lead and Africa COO, delivering firm-wide campaigns and contributing to branding, communications, events and thought leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of the regional clients and markets plan, executing agreed initiatives and tracking progress
• Assist with the regional rollout of firm-wide sector and key client programs
• Help increase internal and external brand awareness of Dentons Africa through regional marketing and firm-wide campaigns
• Develop and maintain regional collateral such as the Africa brochure, web pages and leadership bios
• Support preparation and delivery of Africa Region meetings and conventions, including agenda materials, logistics and speaker coordination
• Coordinate regional updates across regional and global social media platforms
• Assist with annual directory and awards submissions, notably Chambers Africa-wide and the African Legal Awards
• Support pan-African pitches and proposals, gathering input from referral firms
• Liaise with country BD leads to coordinate regional and global campaigns

Required profile

• 4-5 years' relevant experience in business development, marketing or communications, ideally in professional services or a legal environment
• Experience coordinating across multiple offices or jurisdictions
• Strong administration background
• Excellent English; French is a considerable advantage
• Team player who is reliable, responsive and able to meet deadlines
• Problem-solving, analytical and solution-focused, able to work under pressure and without daily supervision
