Reliability Maintenance Engineering Coordinator

About the role

Join Amazon’s Reliability Maintenance Engineering team to ensure the safety, reliability and availability of material handling equipment across the global warehouse and delivery network. You will work in a fast‑paced, non‑traditional shift environment, supporting both day and night operations.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce safety regulations and policies while monitoring compliance on the shop floor.
• Plan, schedule and execute preventative maintenance to meet high standards of equipment availability.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in the building, providing hands‑on troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor technicians, and step in to supervise the shift in the line manager’s absence.
• Track and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and other performance metrics.
• Manage contractors and support standardised improvement initiatives across the EU network.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience using a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for planning, scheduling or auditing maintenance activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays, and travel up to 15% of the time.
• Preferred: 2 + years in maintenance planning/scheduling within an industrial or distribution environment and experience with material handling systems installation and operation.
