Research Quality Specialist – Computational Physics (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Research Quality Specialist with a strong background in computational physics to develop, solve, and review research‑grade scientific problems. This short‑term remote contract offers flexible work within an 8‑week timeframe, focusing on high‑quality content creation for an academic platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conceptualize research‑grade physics problems using Python.
• Define problem categories, secondary tags, and difficulty levels.
• Provide accurate, logically structured solutions for each problem.
• Participate in two‑tier quality reviews of problems and solutions.
• Collaborate with reviewers and team leads to continuously improve content quality.
• Incorporate feedback and maintain high standards throughout the project.

Required profile

• PhD or PhD candidate in Computational Physics.
• At least one peer‑reviewed publication.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python for scientific coding.

What we offer

• Compensation of $80 per approved task.
• Remote work with a requirement of 8 hours per day and 4 hours overlap with PST.
