Reservations Agent (Egyptians Only)

About the role

Kempinski is looking for a Reservations Agent in Cairo, Egypt, open only to Egyptian nationals eligible for a working permit. The agent is responsible for handling as many reservation requests as possible while meeting Kempinski reservation standards and keeping data accurate and timely.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance by segment and source, system close-out when necessary and rate availability
• Ensure client satisfaction and adherence to Kempinski service standards
• Follow internal credit policy
• Follow up on lost business and share information with department superiors
• Spot-check reservations made the previous day and check all VIP arrivals
• Test LQA / IFH results above 85%
• Follow the internal up-sell programme for the Reservations department
• Perform other duties assigned by management

Required profile

• Egyptian nationality, eligible for a working permit in the country of hire
• Education equivalent to a high school diploma; professional certification (university degree or hotel school diploma)
• Experience with Opera Central systems; Fidelio V6 or Opera PMS is essential
• Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are beneficial
• Detail-oriented, good communicator, able to work under pressure and investigate system or input errors
