About the role
The Rooms Coordinator ensures that guest rooms are cleaned, inspected, and ready for occupancy in a timely and professional manner. Working within the housekeeping team at a Marriott hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, you will support both operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Enter the status of rooms cleaned and complete checklists to report cleanliness and condition.
- Identify room assignments and the type of cleaning required for each room.
- Inspect guest rooms after housekeeping to verify standards are met.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with other departments.
- Follow safety, security, and company policies, reporting any hazards or maintenance issues.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of related housekeeping or hotel experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
