Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to manage leisure, corporate and group accounts for our hotel in Cairo. The role involves working closely with local and international travel agents, tour operators and MICE organizers to generate revenue from group and event bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Groups and Events in department management, especially during their absence.
• Attend meetings and client events on behalf of the Director.
• Receive, qualify and coordinate event and group requests, responding within five business hours.
• Apply Kempinski MICE SOPs from enquiry to contracting and ensure optimal use of meeting rooms.
• Conduct site inspections with potential MICE clients in coordination with Field Sales.
• Identify up‑sell opportunities to exceed group and event budget goals.
• Enter, supervise and maintain booking data in the Opera S&C system.
• Prepare proposals and contracts, following up within 24 hours.
• Negotiate, contract and hand over confirmed bookings to the Event Manager or Groups & Events Coordinator.
• Introduce the Event Manager to the client and conduct post‑event exit interviews.
• Cross‑sell to other hotels within the Kempinski Group and perform regular competition checks.
• Review monthly results and forecasts, recommending actions to increase market share and revenue.
