Scaffolding Design Engineer – Cairo

About the role

Doka Egypt is looking for a motivated Scaffolding Design Engineer to join its engineering team in Cairo. You will support projects across Saudi Arabia, creating detailed scaffolding designs and providing technical support on‑site and in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings and scaffolding drawings for quotations and execution.
• Conduct structural analyses of scaffolding according to local standards.
• Generate material lists to support quotations and deliveries.
• Provide on‑site technical support (approximately 25% of time) and handle office tasks (approximately 75%).
• Coordinate closely with the Business Development Manager – Scaffolding & Safety on technical issues.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by the Business Development Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in access scaffolding.
• Civil engineering or related technical qualification.
• Proven Ringlock design experience.
• Advanced CAD proficiency.
• 3D CAD knowledge (mandatory).
• Site experience in assembly and dismantling.
• Experience with contractor‑led scaffolding execution is a plus.
