Security Operations Centre (SOC) Manager

About the role

The Security Operations Centre (SOC) Manager leads a team of SOC analysts, ensuring effective detection, response, and mitigation of cyber‑security incidents. Reporting to the General Manager of Cybersecurity, the role oversees performance measurement, compliance reporting and continuous improvement of SOC processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide performance feedback, training and career guidance to SOC analysts.
• Participate in screening, interviewing and hiring of new SOC staff.
• Coordinate incident response and forensic investigations, acting as the incident lead for cyber‑security events.
• Monitor and enforce SOC best‑practice guidelines and regulatory audit requirements.
• Orchestrate daily SOC tasks, implement new use cases and playbooks, and ensure adherence to incident handling procedures.
• Document incidents, preserve evidence, maintain chain‑of‑custody and produce post‑incident reports with corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT and security experience.
• At least 3 years of experience leading or senior‑level participation in a security operations team.
