Senior Associate - F&A (Cash Application & Collections)

About the role

Genpact is hiring a Senior Associate for its F&A (Finance & Accounts) team in Egypt, covering cash application and accounts receivable (AR) collection. The role is hybrid, follows a standard shift in Egypt and suits someone who wants to act as a subject matter specialist for AR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Making collection calls to customers, emailing or faxing invoices and arranging hard copies to be mailed to customers as requested.
• Allocate payments according to customer remittances, validate cash allocations deeply and report back to business.
• Track aged receivables across AR entities and follow up on customer and internal disputes until resolved.
• Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites so that Daily Receipt Reconciliation (DRR) is completed accurately and on time.
• Reconcile orders to customer books, validating credits or debits and sending them to the customer for collection or refund.
• Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage the end-to-end cash application process.
• Act as subject matter specialist for AR, create and update standard operating procedures, and handle client queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Experience with a real estate client is preferred.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2); French is required.

• Preferred certifications: F-Tec Accounts Payable, CAMS, CFE, CFA, or Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
