Senior Azure DevOps/Cloud Engineer

About the role

Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps/Cloud Engineer to own and evolve its Azure DevOps platform. You will work across development, infrastructure and security teams to deliver reliable, secure, and automated cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Azure Repos strategies, branching policies and repository security.
• Manage Azure Boards, create work item templates, dashboards and ensure traceability from requirements to deployments.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines in Azure Pipelines using YAML, integrating with Azure Repos, GitHub, AKS and security scanning tools.
• Deploy, configure and operate production‑grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including node pools, autoscaling, upgrades and security hardening.
• Design and manage Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints and DNS zones.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, performance bottlenecks and ensure compliance with audit standards.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps and cloud engineering.
• Proven ability to own end‑to‑end CI/CD, AKS and GitOps workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for production issues.
• Deep understanding of security, networking and identity in Azure.
• Ability to write clean automation code and treat infrastructure as code.
• Effective communication across development, infrastructure and security groups.
