Senior Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud‑based backend solutions. You will work closely with a dedicated backend team to support enterprise applications and digital services, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement assigned development tasks.
• Identify and implement modifications to existing applications.
• Write efficient, clean code and perform unit testing to guarantee quality.
• Deploy using Brightskies development tools, processes, and metrics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve coding issues.
• Collaborate with designers, testers, and other developers to improve functionality and user experience.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of backend development experience within a team.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Java and J2EE frameworks.
• Spring Boot (mandatory).
• Object‑Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns.
• CI/CD practices (Terraform or Ansible a plus).
• Building and consuming RESTful services.
• Version control with Git.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
