Senior DevOps & Release Engineer

About the role

Geidea is seeking a Senior DevOps & Release Engineer to lead the end‑to‑end release lifecycle of its digital payment services across multiple regions. You will own the technical delivery of releases, ensure stability, and drive continuous improvement of release processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, own, and continuously improve the release management framework aligned with ITIL practices for production environments in KSA, Egypt, and UAE.
• Take full technical ownership of planning, validation, deployment, and post‑release verification for both AWS cloud and on‑premise infrastructures.
• Execute production deployments using modern DevOps toolchains, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks while minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and engineering teams to align deployment strategies, environment readiness, and operational standards.
• Assess release impact, dependencies, and risks by building deep technical knowledge of Geidea’s production systems.
• Lead release readiness activities, including technical validation, rollback planning, and real‑time issue resolution.
• Own release reporting, post‑release reviews, incident analysis, and performance tracking to enable continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in release management and DevOps within complex, multi‑region environments.
• Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with both cloud (AWS) and on‑premise infrastructures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and drive governance while executing technical tasks.
