Senior Electrical Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Site Engineer to lead the installation and commissioning of electrical systems on construction projects. The role involves supervising contractors, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and coordinating with consultants to deliver high‑quality electrical works on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and implement installation of low‑voltage (LV), medium‑voltage (MV), low‑current and control systems.
• Resolve technical issues, provide advice and develop installation and erection procedures.
• Engage in technical discussions with consultant engineers and prepare detailed reports on progress and duration.
• Monitor contractor performance, enforce contract terms, and ensure timely completion.
• Inspect and approve electrical works against design documents.
• Coordinate task priorities with the project manager and other stakeholders.
• Prepare quantity surveys, shop drawings and as‑built documentation.
• Track project budget and report variances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical site engineering within construction.
• Strong knowledge of MEP coordination and related workflows.
• Proven ability to work with consultants and manage contractor teams.
