About the role
The Senior HR Specialist will drive core HR functions across the employee lifecycle, supporting reporting, analytics, recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations. Working closely with the HRBP Manager, recruitment and L&D teams, the role ensures smooth HR operations for both blue‑collar and white‑collar staff at El Sewedy Steel.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain and present HR reports and analytics, monitoring manpower and headcount trends.
- Support recruitment activities for blue‑collar and white‑collar positions in partnership with the recruitment team.
- Organise induction sessions and deliver HR orientation for new hires.
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist the performance management cycle, including objective setting and KPI tracking.
- Update and maintain the organisational structure and employee records in Oracle HRIS.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyse feedback and produce summary reports.
- Collaborate with L&D to schedule training programmes for all employee groups.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- Hands‑on experience with HR information systems, preferably Oracle HRIS.
- Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to produce actionable HR insights.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Oracle HRIS.
- Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI skills.
- Ability to leverage AI tools for HR processes.
