Senior Liferay Developer & Portal Architect (CMS Focus)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Liferay Developer who will design and implement a scalable portal platform that empowers non‑technical administrators to manage content, layouts, navigation and user experiences without writing code or requesting redeployments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect an admin‑first portal using Liferay DXP’s native CMS features such as Fragments, Content Pages, Templates, Structures and Client Extensions.
• Enable zero‑code content management for text, images, videos, banners, menus and calls‑to‑action through the Liferay Control Panel.
• Build a reusable fragment library with configurable properties and composable layouts for drag‑and‑drop page building.
• Implement role‑based access controls, dynamic navigation, site hierarchies and multilingual support.
• Configure Kaleo workflows, scheduled publishing, versioning and rollback capabilities for fully self‑service content governance.
• Create custom web content structures (e.g., Blog Post, Press Release, Product, Event) and dynamic lists for auto‑generated listing pages.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering large‑scale Liferay DXP portals.
• Strong understanding of content modeling, taxonomy management and localization within Liferay.
• Ability to translate business requirements into admin‑friendly configurations without custom code.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
