Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

About the role

Archirodon is seeking a Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join its Regional Office in New Cairo, Egypt. The role supports EPC projects by leading cost estimation, technical evaluation, and documentation for mechanical systems such as HVAC, building automation, plumbing, and fire protection.

Key responsibilities

• Handle tender cost estimating and technical evaluation for all mechanical works.
• Provide economic studies and preliminary estimates for HVAC, BMS, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Review tender documents and design drawings, raise RFIs for missing or conflicting information.
• Apply American standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NEC, IEEE, NFPA, ASME, API) to all contract projects.
• Calculate cooling/heating loads, duct and pipe sizing, and HVAC equipment sizing.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, follow procurement processes, and generate BOQs.
• Prepare and review mechanical technical data submittals and coordinate with suppliers.
• Maintain a cost database for future tender evaluations.
• Draft contract documents for mechanical subcontractors, including scope of work and detailed bill of materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Power Engineering.
• 10‑15 years of experience in tender estimation, cost engineering, and technical office functions.
• Proven experience with reputable EPC contractors.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy, proficient in MS Office.
