Senior Mobile iOS Engineer

About the role

Yassir is looking for a Senior Mobile iOS Engineer to join its fast‑growing engineering team. You will work on high‑quality native iOS applications, integrating them with backend services and helping shape the product roadmap for a super‑app serving millions across North Africa and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of the mobile apps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation through best practices.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for technology, algorithms, and products.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience developing native iOS applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, RESTful APIs, and micro‑services.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• BSc or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Required skills

• iOS development with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Cloud messaging APIs and push‑notification integration.
• RESTful API consumption and micro‑service interaction.
• Version control using Git.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of caching solutions such as Redis.
• Understanding of scaling and web load‑balancing concepts.
