Senior Procurement Engineer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Engineer will lead the sourcing and acquisition of engineering materials and services for Nawy Real Estate’s construction projects. Working closely with project managers and engineering teams, you will ensure that all procurements meet technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse project specifications to determine required materials and services.
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Prepare and issue RFPs/RFQs, collect and assess bids.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure optimal terms.
• Coordinate with project teams to align procurement plans with schedules.
• Monitor order progress, manage delivery logistics, and resolve any supply issues.
• Maintain detailed records of procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Participate in supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and contribute to process enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement engineering experience, preferably in construction or real estate.
• Strong knowledge of engineering materials, specifications and procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
