Senior Project Manager – Banking Sector

About the role

Housing & Development Bank (HDB) is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical initiatives across the bank. The role requires deep knowledge of banking regulations, quality management systems and modern project delivery methods.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project execution, aligning deliverables with business strategy and compliance requirements.
• Ensure all projects meet Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) regulations, internal policies and international banking standards.
• Drive quality assurance, process improvement and adherence to QMS frameworks.
• Engage with regulators, senior executives, IT teams, vendors and compliance officers.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, including cybersecurity considerations.
• Monitor budgets, control costs and optimise resource allocation for efficiency.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of project management experience, preferably within Egyptian banks.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English and Arabic.
