Senior Sales Engineer - Lighting Division

About the role

Lighthouse Egypt is looking for a proactive, results-driven Senior Sales Engineer with proven experience in the lighting industry and project sales. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers and project owners, and driving the full sales cycle to secure new projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new project opportunities within the lighting industry.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to maximise market coverage and achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, developers and key decision-makers.
• Generate new business independently, beyond assigned leads.
• Maintain and expand a database of potential clients, consultants and ongoing or upcoming projects.
• Follow up project pipelines from specification stage through to project award.
• Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to prepare competitive proposals and quotations.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and upcoming projects to spot business opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical is preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the lighting industry.
• Proven experience in project sales.
• Strong network within the construction, consultants, contractors and developers market.
• Valid driving licence is a plus.

Required skills

• Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans independently.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
