Senior Site Engineer – Architecture

About the role

Sabbour Consulting is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to lead the on‑site implementation of architectural works across medium to large‑scale projects. The role ensures that all construction activities align with design intent, quality standards, and safety regulations while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor architectural works, including finishes, partitions, ceilings, doors, windows, and external works.
• Verify that construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and approve contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers to resolve site‑related issues and prevent conflicts.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and document site observations.
• Participate in site meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Review and verify as‑built drawings and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience supervising architectural works on medium to large projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and team‑leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit (preferred).
• Competence in MS Office applications.
